DIPLOMA IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

D.El.Ed. is a 2 years full-time diploma course which is divided into 4 semesters. Intake Of Seats :
The college has an intake of 50 seats, of which 25 are merit seats which are filled from the applications submitted to the Deputy Director of Education. The remaining 25 seats are filled by the management from the applications submitted at the college. There are different application forms for both merit and management seats.
Qualification Required:
Candidates who have obtained 50% in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent are eligible to apply. Candidate should not have taken more than three chances to pass the Higher Secondary Examination. Relaxation stipulated by the Govt are applicable to candidates with reservation. Of the total seats 40% is reserved for science,40% for Humanities and 20% for Commerce.
Age Limit:
Candidates must have completed 17 years and should not exceed 33 years. Relaxation stipulated by the Govt are applicable to candidates with reservation.Fee: Rs 25000 /- per year.
